BUB Form, Student Affairs System

University hackathon · Scrum Master & lead developer

Submitting a request to the university meant hunting for the right form, filling it by hand, and emailing it to the correct address. Someone in Student Affairs then re-entered everything on their side. Forms slipped through. One email address change once made a whole batch of submissions vanish.

I led the team as Scrum Master and owned most of the build: one web app that replaces the entire chain. Students sign in, pick a request, and most of it is already filled in. Staff see every request in one prioritised list and approve, reject, or ask for changes in a click, then export clean branded PDFs for their dean.

The university never rolled it out in the end. But building the whole thing in a weekend, for real students with a real problem, taught me more than any lecture that year.

commit 4c7d9b2JUN–AUG 2025IN PRODUCTION

processing time per fraud case

Fraud Automation System

Beyon Money · internship · Software Engineering Intern

Filing one fraud report meant pulling customer details from three separate systems, checking references against an internal database and an outside website, and typing a two to three page document by hand. At peak times the team filed reports on weekends just to keep up.

I built a tool inside Beyon's admin portal that does all of it from one input. An analyst types a customer ID and the full report is generated in seconds, with role-based access and a full audit trail. The Fraud & Compliance team still uses it every day, long after my internship ended.

Sticky Notes

Windows desktop app · Sole developer

A fast, always-on-top notes app for Windows, built because the built-in one kept dropping the features I relied on. Pin a note over your work, fade it down so you can still read the screen underneath, and trust it to stay put.

Each note keeps its own size and colour, and the whole thing lives quietly in the system tray. Shipping now, free to download.

commit f0c8d472026–PRESENTHEADIN DEVELOPMENT

On-device

semantic search, nothing leaves the machine

Undig

Desktop product · Sole architect & developer

A desktop app that finds any file from a plain description of what is inside it, even when you have forgotten the name and the folder. Ask for the warehouse lease and it surfaces the right document, even when the file is called IMG_2841.pdf.

Everything runs on your own machine, which is what makes it safe inside a company. It reads PDFs, Office files, spreadsheets, web pages, notes and email, blends keyword and meaning matching into one ranked list, and keeps its index current as files change. Production-ready and being prepared for enterprise rollout.
